Growing up with a strong art influence from my father (who studied art in college), I always knew I would find my place in a creative atmosphere.  Instead of spending my weekends at amusement parks and playgrounds, my parents would take me to various art exhibits and museums.  My first attempt at being an artist was in the fourth grade when I entered an art contest at school.  Even though I was only able to complete about 10% of the painting, I walked away with Honorable Mention for the entire state of Texas.  My creativity followed me to college where I majored in Interior Design.  While working as a designer, I’ve found that I enjoy the art aspect of design more than anything else and I’ve realized that the last finishing touches can make the most significant impact on a project.
